Seriously sorry for the 2-month hiatus; I guess I totally drained all my juices with that Twilight piece I did because I seriously haven't had any inspiration to draw ANYTHING...

...until I read up on the spoilers for Outcast.

After 5.5 years of waiting, Jaina and Jag FINALLY are back together again. I've never drawn too much Jaina/Jag fanart because those two are my all-time favorite ship and I care so much about getting them right that I'm too intimidated to draw them. But when I read that my hope and prayers had been answered and THE MAN (Allston) got them back together, the juices came flooding back immediately! Unfortunately, since I haven't drawn in two months, it took me HOURS to get this right, and I was simply too exhausted to color it so I half-assed some tones. (I'll get around to coloring this someday. Like all those other ones I said I would color. )

Anyway, if you don't know who the heck these guys are, they are Jaina Solo (Han Solo and Princess Leia's daughter) and Jag Fel (son of the Empire's greatest fighter pilot) from the Star Wars Expanded Universe. Jag was introduced in 2000's Dark Tide: Ruin, where it was immediately clear that he was meant for Jaina. They didn't hook up until 2002's Enemy Lines: Rebel Dream, and it was unclear whether they stayed together after 2003's The Unifying Force. Finally it was revealed that they had broken up in 2005's Dark Nest: The Joiner King (much to the dismay of thousands of Jaina/Jag fangirls). THEN I had to endure 3.5 years of torture reading about how Jaina and Jag end up on opposite sides of a war and Jag despised Jaina. (Thank god I do a lot of cardio because otherwise my heart would have not had held up during this period.) There was Jag being stranded on a jungle planet for two years, the love triangle between Jaina, Jag and Zekk, and Jaina's unfortunate destiny as Sword of the Jedi.

But finally, FINALLY, Allston made it happen. The wait was totally worth it. And my Star Wars mojo is BACK.
